Something I never considered when I was younger was taking supplements to help with my health. It has only been over the last few years that I have needed to start taking supplements such as vitamin D specifically since we found out I was dangerously low a few months back. I now ensure that I take vitamin D daily so that I don't feel unwell and can stay healthy as I get older.

Do you take any kind of supplements to help with your health? What do you take?

Used to get into supplements over a decade ago, including stuff like protein shakes 'n' creatine, etc.

😄 Admittedly i never actually noticed any kind of benefits aye.

Ended up doing a fair bit of investigation into nutrition & biology, inevitably that led to certain startling realizations—i've since not touched any artificial pharmaceuticals,...😅... and never-ever will again.
(*imo, those artificial pills & other drug concoctions aren't what we're led to believe.)

😄i actually get my bodz daily VitD hit just from making sure to get at least around an average of ten mins direct sun on skin, works a treat.

i think i'd read somewhere about vital-mineral deficiencies regularly occuring as the consequence of other vita-mins imbalances, either deficiency & excess.

🤔 Might possibly have a PDF-or two—buried in 'files'.
i'll have a rummage through tomorrow, 😅 bit late here rn,...i gotta crash out.

Catch 😄👍

Creatine has always been the one over the counter workout supplement that actually works for me. Definite increase in strength and muscle size for me

Otherwise, I used to do the whole vitamin regiment with all the Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Magnesium, Iodine, Vitamin C and never felt like that had any effect

I am a believer in L-Theanine + Caffiene but can’t do that consistently or the tolerance builds up

Another I feel is effective, but the evidence is a bit more anecdotal is Beet Root Powder

No. I should tho, I'm going on 50. My wife says I should start with fish oil however I learned a long time ago that fish oil opens up the reptilian side of the brain, so I just don't trust it.
I've found that just practicing the basics, a joint and oj and I'm good, health wise.
I don't eat, drink or smoke after people.
As in, I wouldn't share a beer or joint with anyone. You get a beer, I get a beer. You get a joint and I get a joint.
I only drink coffee 3 or 4 mornings out of the week. (Helps keep the racism down) 😂
Sometimes I do wish that I was as athletic as when I was younger, all I've got left is my driving and aim. 😂
